Nikon has announced that its Nikon School Online classes will be available free of charge through the end of the year to help people capture and share holiday moments and stay entertained while at home. From now until Dec. 31, individuals can sharpen their photography skills at home with courses taught by Nikon Ambassadors and photographers.
In addition to its current lineup of 10 classes, Nikon has released a new course – “Better Holiday Photos with Nikon Ambassadors” – which will allow creators of all levels to step up their photography skills. Taught by Nikon’s top creators, the new course will provide tips and creative techniques for getting in the spirit and capturing one-of-a-kind holiday cards to share with family and friends. Some elements the course addresses include mastering the art of food photography, basic lighting for portraits, and how to pose couples or families most effectively for holiday cards.
“Nikon School Online classes are a great way to help anyone brush up on their photography skills and inspire them to capture and share their amazing photos and video with their friends and families this holiday season,” said Jay Vannatter, executive vice president, Nikon, in the announcement statement. “Whether celebrating the holidays at home among loved ones or joining together virtually, the power of imaging helps keep us connected, creative and inspired.”
The curriculum covers both photography and videography skills and an array of topics to best capture different genres. Access to the full list of online classes available to stream for free is available here: www.nikonusa.com/school.
