Samsung’s Cube Air Purifier is Smart

Samsung’s Cube Air Purifier features purification and filtration technologies, including a True HEPA filtration system, said to remove air impurities with 99.97 percent efficiency. The Cube Air Purifier has officially received the Asthma and Allergy Association of America (AAFA) and Allergy Standards Limited (ASL) “Asthma & Allergy Friendly” Certification, meaning it’s certified to reduce allergenic and irritant materials in the air.

The device, which filters 310 square feet with 35 watts of power consumption, is also said to emit minimal noise and cold air draft. It also comes with connected technology: Through the SmartThings app, users can remotely turn their Cube Air Purifier on or off, monitor the filter, and check outdoor air quality. Further, it is controllable via voice assistants, says Samsung. The device also uses a laser to monitor size of air particles, and an easy-to-view display provides instant air-quality feedback.

Pricing is $749 for the Silver finish and $699 for the White finish.
