DLP Tech Fuels Anker Mini-Projector

Anker Nebula

Smart device supplier Anker Innovations has made available its Nebula Capsule Max mini-projector, offering what it says is a quality viewing experience using DLP technology to project 720p, 200-ANSI-lumen images up to 100 inches in size, even in low-light environments ($469.99). The product was featured at Pepcom’s recently held Holiday Spectacular virtual exhibition.

The device, says the company, projects a rectangular image from almost any angle in under a second, and features autofocus and keystoning technology for proper image orientation. The company says that applications for the Nebula Capsule Max extend beyond mere entertainment content viewing to use as a tool for stay-at-home students to view online classes during COVID-19.

It uses the Android 8.1 platform, which can download and stream YouTube, Hulu and additional similar content – including Netflix content, which is controllable via the Nebula Connect smartphone app. The device will play for up to four hours in local video playtime mode, and up to three hours when accessing Wi-Fi content.
