Images can be displayed vertically or horizontally, which is good if smartphone or social media videos need to be shown. Users can save time when switching between projectors with the data cloning feature, which copies settings from one projector to a second projector through a USB memory drive. Projectors can be complicated to configure, so this means a seamless set-up even if someone else has changed its settings.

Sony’s Reality Creation real-time signal processing, mapping, and analysis technology uses AI to make sure images a clear and focused. Both projectors are compatible with 4K video and have the new Reality Text feature that provides enhanced readability with clearer letters and lines. Another feature that optimizes the projectors’ clarity: an automated filter cleaning system that removes dust every 100 hours so you don’t have to. The Bright View function has been upgraded so that colors don’t lose their contrast, even in bright light, thanks to an “Ambiance” feature that measures the brightness through a light sensor and adjusts the settings accordingly.

The new projectors will be available in January, 2022.
