LG Launches New Lineup of OLED Gaming Monitors

LG Electronics has officially launched its new lineup of premium UltraGear OLED Gaming Monitors in the United States. The lineup features two monitors that each boast the world’s first 240Hz OLED panel that delivers a record-breaking response time of less than 0.03 milliseconds Gray-to-Gray and superior self-lit picture quality. The 27-inch 27GR95QE ensures vibrant graphics thanks to it covering 98.53 percent of the DCI-P3 color gamut. The 45-inch 45GR95QE is the company’s first 45-inch curved OLED gaming monitor and offers a 1,500,000:1 contrast ratio and 98.55 percent coverage of DCI-P3. The two new gaming monitors are now available for pre-order and are expected to begin shipping in early January.

In other news, audio company Tronsmart has released the new Bang SE Party Speaker. The speaker features IPX6 waterproof protection, a power bank to charge cell phones and a detachable strap that makes it a perfect speaker to travel with. It also boasts a 40W bright stereo system output, two 3.1-inch full-range driver units and a 24-hour battery life.

Lastly, the global semiconductor industry is expected to invest more than $500 billion in 84 volume chipmaking facilities from 2021 to 2023. The factories will include segments such as automotive and high-performance computing. In the United States, the passage of the Chips and Science Act has pushed the global market to invest in chip making facilities, especially in China, Taiwan and Europe.
