Canon U.S.A., Inc., a digital imaging trailblazer, will be presenting new and innovative work canvases at CES 2023. The company will be revealing the thrilling features of its ‘Limitless Is More’ campaign.
In addition, CES attendees will have the opportunity to experience the landscape of M. Night Shyamalan’s upcoming movie Knock at the Cabin (in theaters Feb. 3). Canon is looking to destroy the boundaries preventing communication, collaboration, and perspective from reaching new heights, through the use of four new technological creations.
Kazuto Ogawa, President and CEO, Canon U.S.A., Inc. said, “Canon is creating groundbreaking solutions that help people connect in more ways than we ever could have imagined, redefining how they work and live at a time when many of them are embracing a hybrid lifestyle,’’ He continued, “Canon’s ultimate role is to bring people closer together by revealing endless opportunities for creators. Under our theme of ‘Limitless Is More,’ we will show CES 2023 attendees what we are creating as a company focused on innovation and a world without limits.”
Four new features available for viewing at CES 2023 will be known as Kokomo, Free Viewpoint, MREAL and AMLOS.
All working as productive pieces to push past limits of day-to-day technology, each group of products will drive consumer productivity beyond reality.
Kokomo is designed to operate as a medium for meeting “in-person” through realistic VR experiences. Through the software, compatible headsets and smartphones are able to create 3D video environments and enhance physical presentation.
Free Viewpoint, a new video system designed for arenas and stadiums, uses 100 Canon Cinema EOS-based 4k cameras for production of 3D visuals from multiple angles and perspectives. One of the action scenes from Knock at the Cabin, shot in Free Viewpoint will be viewable at CES 2023.
MREAL, once put in to production, will provide mixed reality experiences to consumers by combining real and virtual worlds. A viewing of the technology is available at the Canon’s CES 2023 booth.
AMLOS (Activate My Line of Sight) is a software-and-camera product suite created to provide spaces for multiple meeting locations.
Pan, tilt and zoom (PTZ) camera attributes will allow for hand gesture controls, remote users are able to view in-person objects, and during CES 2023, attendees can participate in an interactive Knock at the Cabin investigative activity using the software.
Canon is looking to contribute to the market in cutting-edge ways that make everything about virtuality seem real.
