JBL Unveils its Flagship Soundbar Featuring Dolby Atmos and DTS:X Surround Sound

The latest addition to JBL’s recently overhauled soundbar range creates an immersive cinema-like audio experience for the home. With 15 channels of sound, six up-firing drivers and MultiBeam technology, the new soundbar leverages both Dolby Atmos® and DTS:X 3D surround sound. The bar also comes equipped with detachable wireless surround speakers and a wireless subwoofer to further enhance its performance.

“Our soundbars take in-home theatre sound to the next level and the JBL Bar 1300 truly stands out,” says Dave Rogers, President, HARMAN Lifestyle Division. “We’ve packed a record number of features, drivers and jaw-dropping acoustic performance into one versatile, easy-to-use soundbar.”

Optimized voice clarity

Like other models in its soundbar range, the JBL Bar 1300 is built on parent company Harman’s PureVoice technology, which uses an algorithm to improve and optimize voice clarity even in the presence of loud background sound effects.

Wi-Fi connectivity

Thanks to the soundbar’s Wi-Fi connectivity users are able to browse online music platforms using the new JBL One app. Through the app they can also customise EQ setting and personalise their listening experience.

Moreover, the new soundbar’s Wi-Fi capability enables it to link to ask Alexa, Google Assistant, or Siri to stream users’ preferred entertainment. It also allows access to over 300 online music streaming services through AirPlay 2, Alexa MRM and built-in Chromecast, providing a variety of ways to access audio content.

Joining the Bar 1000, Bar 800, Bar 500 and Bar 300 as part of company’s newly revamped soundbar series, the model is set to be available for purchase through jbl.com as of February 2023.
