Toshiba has released details of its new 4K OLED TV that will soon be released in certain markets. The X9900L boasts a spectacular OLED display with rich depths and vast luminous colors. Toshiba’s latest TV features impressive self-luminous technology and a professional Al engine, which combine to provide better contrast and color display. The Toshiba X9900L TV will first be available in Russia during the first quarter, with Brazil, Australia and South Africa to follow.
In other news, TCL has announced that it will be releasing three new 40 series smartphone models in the United States. The TCL 40 X 5G, TCL 40 XE 5G, and TCL 40 XL will soon be available nationwide through licensed mobile carriers and retailers. Thew new smartphone lineup features a widescreen aspect ratio and a near bezel-free design that makes it perfect for streaming and gaming. The phones, which boast a range of HD+ displays up to 6.75-inches, also include octa-core high performance processors and Helio or MediaTek chipsets.
Lastly, Transit Wireless has executed an agreement with the Metropolitan Transportation Authority in New York City. The extended agreement between the two companies will double the size of Transit Wireless’ 5G fiber network including 418 track miles and up to 20 separate river crossings. The network, which will support over 10 million users per day, will allow mobile network operators to offer enhanced data service underground and throughout the entire NYC subway system. The expansion is currently underway and will be one of the most advanced and extensive projects of its kind in North America.
