LG Recognized as Most Sustainable Home Appliance Brand

LG Electronics has been named the most sustainable home appliance brand in the 2023 Green Builder Sustainable Brand Index. The publication recognized the electronics company for its “unwavering commitment and advancements in sustainable green building practices.” Published annually, the ranking is based on the weighted average of three factors, including survey data of a company’s sustainability efforts, data that tracks positive brand mentions from consumers and sentiment that tracks how favorably consumers view a company.

The announcement follows LG winning two 2023 sustainable products of the year distinctions from Green Builder, which recognizes “innovations that go above and beyond in manufacturing and encourage sustainability through innovative technology or an improved version of a traditional technique.” LG won the two awards for the company’s Multi F MAX with LGRED multi-zone heat pump HVAC system and STUDIO induction cooktop with a flex cooking zone.

In other news, Saramonic has released a new 2.4 ghz wireless smart microphone that comes with a touchscreen. The BlinkMe Dual-channel Wireless Microphone System features a sleek touchscreen interface, customizable features, on-board recording, safety track, magnetic attachment, and a patented charging dock design. The system’s touchscreen allows creators the ability to customize button functions, UI, and wallpaper of the transmitter through Saramonic APP, as well as ascertain their present recording status at a glance.
