Dirac, the Swedish digital audio pioneer, has expanded its collaboration with Premium Audio Company (PAC) to integrate Dirac Live Bass Control into PAC’s Onkyo, Pioneer, Elite, and Integra AVR units. This integration addresses the growing demand for high-quality audio in mainstream home theater systems. Dirac Live Bass Control utilizes data aggregation to ensure even distribution of bass, correct inconsistencies in low-frequency response, and align subwoofers with the main speakers, allowing for flexible placement without sacrificing performance.
Dirac Live Bass Control is available as an add-on feature for end-users, priced at $349 for the single-subwoofer version and $499 for the multi-subwoofer version. Additionally, the Dirac Live Room Correction, which improves sound localization, clarity, and low-frequency response, is included with each unit at no extra cost.
The partnership between Dirac and PAC enhances their home theater capabilities, offering customers premium audio experiences across different price points. Dirac Live Bass Control delivers smoother low-frequency transitions, consistent response in the listening area, and bass management for multiple subwoofers. The inclusion of Dirac Live Room Correction further improves sound localization, clarity, and low-frequency response. These advanced room control solutions bring professional-level acoustics to a broader audience, making high-quality audio accessible to mainstream consumers.
