On September 20, Amazon announced that customers can sign up to receive information about pre-ordering the newest line of Echo devices. This new generation of Echo devices is designed to be more intuitive, proactive, and stylish. One of the most interesting additions of the bunch is the Echo Frames. This Alexa-enabled eyewear combines style and technology and comes in five styles with prescription and blue-light lens options. The glasses also have a battery life of six hours and feature a new audio system that can recognize voices more accurately and cancel outside noises.

To add to its eyewear lineup, Amazon has also partnered with Carrera Smart Glasses to create a stylish eyewear line for the more fashionable Alexa user. The Carrera Smart Glasses line has two styles, Cruiser and Sprinter, with all the benefits of Alexa on the go.

“Customers rely on Alexa for so much, including managing their smart homes, keeping up with the latest news, setting birthday reminders, and keeping their homes stocked with essentials,” said Daniel Rausch, VP of Alexa and Fire TV, in a press release.

Echo Frames and Carrera Smart Glasses with seven frame styles retail at a starting price of $269.99 and $389.99, respectively.
