Job Title: Branding Manager
Company: AVPro Global Holdings
Years in Industry: 6
Where You Grew Up, Live Now: I grew up in Mitchell, SD, and now live in Sioux Falls, SD
Education: University of South Dakota, where I received a bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing. A couple of years later I attended Southeast Technical University here in Sioux Falls and received an Associate’s Degree in Marketing Design.
Accomplishments: I would say designing our brand logos and brand stories have been a joy in my career. Also designing our tradeshow booths has been a highlight. Seeing your designs go from computer to a full-size 20×50 tradeshow booth is pretty incredible.
What I Like Best About My Job: I love being creative at work while accomplishing our marketing goals and gaining brand recognition. My team is also one of the best in the business.
What I like Least About My Job: Staying inside the lines. Sometimes, you have to tone down an idea or design to make sure it is on brand and makes sense to your audience.
Pastime/Hobby: I’ve recently taken up golf and am really enjoying learning the game. It can be more than frustrating sometimes, however! My husband and I also have two Boston terriers who keep us very busy.
Last Book Read: Catch and Kill by Ronan Farrow
Favorite Movie: The Harry Potter Series
Best Concert: Elton John
My Hero, and Why: I have many heroes in my life but I would have to say my parents. They showed my sister and I that hard work and simply being a good person can take you pretty far in life. I’d also have to say my husband Matt. If he hadn’t asked me to design the Murideo logo years ago, I’m not sure if I’d be where I am today.
Favorite CE Product: The LG OLED 77C7; we have one in our living room, and it’s the perfect mix of beauty and functionality
If You Could be Anyplace Right Now, Where Would it Be and What Would You Be Doing?: Key West, FL. This is one of my favorite places in the world, I love the low-key spirit and creative nature of the town. I would probably be having breakfast at my favorite beachside cafe, mimosa in hand.
