Describe your current role.
My focus is centered on developing operational strategies and overseeing their tactical execution. This encompasses Claims Operations, Training, Quality Assurance & Vendor Relations.
My primary goal is simple: provide low-effort experiences for our customers and partners. And be the best leader I can be for my team.

What accomplishment(s) are you most proud of?
First, I am very proud of the evolution and growth of Centricity; I’m grateful to have been a part of the evolution. I am very proud that my career trajectory has been tied to the success of Centricity, as I started as Claims Agent and now am Director of Operations.
I have gotten great satisfaction watching and helping members of my team follow a similar growth path and develop a rewarding career. I am also proud to have been part of a company that has positioned us to align with a diverse group of partners who are equally focused on service excellence and customer loyalty and retention. These are values that are also particularly important to me personally.
I have been with Centricity for over 12 years, and I am pleased to also have been a part of an organization that uniquely positions itself to not only be a value-added partner but also to take community responsibility to heart through outreach programs and development of community leaders.
I have also been honored to partner with Centricity to co-sponsor a series of scholarships given to youth within my community who were headed to college.

What do you like best about your job?
This answer is simple: the Centricity team.
We are collaborative, fun, understanding and caring towards each other. This is more than a collective of dynamic individuals; we are a family. Everyone is invested in service delivery and execution, and living our Shark culture. Our Shark culture is always hungry, always moving, and driving forward.

What technology are you most excited about at the moment?
I am most excited about the expansion of Robotic Process Automation (RPA). For an Operations guy, being able to convert routine transactions into automated workflows has huge implications on providing consistent customer experiences while reducing operational cost.

What career advice would you give to people just getting started in the CE or technology industry?
Stay ambitious, engaged and embrace every opportunity to learn and develop. Find a mentor — someone you respect — and learn everything you can. Never stop learning. In an ever-changing competitive landscape, it’s best to be tooled with the most relevant information and key insights from those who have the experience. This will help mold you into an even better professional and likely will translate into your personal life as well.

What, in your opinion, is necessary for the CE/technology industry to thrive in the next five years?
For the CE/technology industry to thrive, there must be a keen focus on delivering services that proactively anticipate customer needs and work quickly to fill the demand. Secondly, there must be focus on implementing green strategies in product development and manufacturing.
