James Dyson. Incredible example of building an indelible brand in a category where everyone thought there was no need for innovation. Challenged the status quo in terms of product quality, features, and pricing.
What career advice would you give to people just getting started in the CE or technology industry?
Build a strong foundation of brand equity before trying to scale
Goodwill goes a long way
Find a team that has that perfect balance of IQ and EQ, competency and compassion
Don’t trade what you want the most for what you want at the moment
What, in your opinion, is necessary for the CE/technology industry to thrive in the next five years?
Focusing on the user-experience.
