IFA 2020 Special Edition Debuts FUTURE CANDY LAND

FUTURE CANDY LAND will make its public debut at this year's SHIFT Mobility meets IFA NEXT.

FUTURE CANDY LAND will make its public debut at this year’s SHIFT Mobility meets IFA NEXT, which takes place as part of the IFA 2020 Special Edition 3-5 September in Berlin. The Hamburg-based innovation agency FUTURE CANDY will present innovative mobility solutions and the latest technological developments in a theme park-style exhibition area. Visitors are invited to test all products on site at the booth or at a specially designed test drive. 

For its’ debut, FUTURE CANDY LAND will feature several world premieres, including:

GoBe Robots will present their new telepresence robot live on stage – a useful office support that sees rapid growth in current times. With GoBe Robots, virtual office communication becomes real and mobile from anywhere.

OKAI showcases their first electric bike designed for sharing concepts. OKAI EB100 will be aligned with a charging station, compatible for all swappable batteries of OKAI vehicles. In addition, OKAI will show the ES500 at the expo, the first OKAI consumer kick scooter.

RCCO will debut in Berlin with a new virtual racing series #RacingForTheClimate. Le Mans winner and DTM champion Mike Rockenfeller will start the SIM Racing series with a live performance at the show. RCCO is a communication platform for modern mobility and sustainability.

The world premieres will be presented at the FUTURE CANDY panel on Thursday, 3 September from 10:30 am to 12 pm by Nick Sohnemann (CEO & Founder FUTURE CANDY) and other mobility experts on the Innovation Engine-Stage.

In addition to the world premieres, guests at FUTURE CANDY LAND can expect to learn about the latest electric mobility trends, such as the “Loadster” cargo bike from citkar, the scooters from DREEMS or the new sharing cargo bikes from SIGO. The Goodpatch design team will be presenting their in-Car virtual reality cARVR simulation.

FUTURE CANDY LAND also provides entertainment: SPREE Interactive will offer visitors a welcome change with their Virtual Bumper Car. Curvature Games presents the use of redirected walking and Chocolate3 will delight visitors with freshly printed 3D chocolate.  A robot zoo and other surprises round off the FUTURE CANDY LAND program. 

The FUTURE CANDY LAND is located in Hall A, CityCube at booth 301.

To participate in the IFA 2020 Special Edition, registration in advance is necessary. Registered participants will also receive access to the IFA 2020 Xtended Space, the digital extension of the IFA 2020 Special Edition.

Therefore online pre-registration is mandatory. About IFA 2020 Special Edition

The IFA 2020 Special Edition – consisting of physical live events focusing on its B2B core functions of IFA – offers a meeting place for industry and trade in the IFA Business, Retail & Meeting Lounges and cross-industry innovations at SHIFT Mobility meets IFA NEXT. While these event elements are aimed at trade visitors, media representatives can exclusively experience the latest products and services, press briefings and IFA keynotes live at the IFA Global Press Conference.

Health and safety is a top priority at IFA 2020 Special Edition, which will take place from 3 to 5 September 2020 as a three-day event with a limited number of participants in accordance with current regulations.

Digital IFA Experience

With a virtual extension – the “IFA Xtended Space” – the physical event is complemented by live and on demand streaming of presentations, match-making tools and digital product demonstrations. The Xtended Space thereby is accessible for both on-site guests and all other interested participants around the globe.
