At the ECOVACS IFA press conference company CEO David Qian opened remotely from China by reminding everyone that the company’s mission remains, “A robot for every family in the world.”
With that being said, ECOVACS introduced models featuring their unique AI-driven floor cleaning tech, that provides excellent home vacuuming, mopping and even home monitoring. There are no more compromises in the robotic vacuum space, the company explains, thanks to ECOVACS’ intelligent navigation system and strong suction power built into their latest models.
Part of the company’s T8 series, the DEEBOT OZMO T8 AIVI features simultaneous vacuuming and mopping with advanced laser-based home mapping, object identification and avoidance, and remote monitoring that brings peace of mind to homeowners.
The revolutionary DEEBOT T8 provides users with the ultimate cleaning experience as the first DEEBOT product to include TrueDetect technology for advanced obstacle avoidance. The DEEBOT T8 can map homes with 4X the accuracy and not miss a spot. Working alongside its OZMO Mopping System, the DEEBOT T8 offers precise water control so users don’t over-wet floors and is smart enough to automatically avoid carpets when the mopping pad is on. The DEEBOT T8 is designed to appeal to users who don’t need the camera monitoring function of the DEEBOT T8 AIVI but demand the best cleaning experience. The DEEBOT T8 is available for $649 on ECOVACS.com, Amazon, and online at Wal-Mart and Target.
The DEEBOT OZMO 950 is another ECOVACS robot vacuum that combines the mobility of a conventional robotic vacuum cleaner with the suction power of a standard cordless vacuum cleaner. It has three suction levels so that you can set the right suction power for every cleaning task and floor type.
Thanks to the new, powerful motor and longer battery life, it can also vacuum and mop large living areas in one session. The improved navigation technology not only maps and scans the room better, but now also makes it possible for the first time to store information for several floor levels.
As the technology in this category continues to improve, Qian and ECOVACS may just be moving closer to their “robot for every family in the world” vision.
