Catalyst, at the recent Pepcom Holiday Spectacular virtual show, introduced what it said was the only Total Protection case for AirPods Pro ($49.99). The case is completely waterproof to 330 feet (100m) and is made of washable polycarbonate that can be easily sanitized to keep free of bacteria and viruses. It also features an impact-absorbing silicone interior. Also, the AirPods Pro will be protected from any scratches and scrapes. This case comes with a detachable carabiner to hook onto a belt, bag or purse, and it is fully compatible with wireless charging. Catalyst says that for every Total Protection AirPods Pro case purchased, it will make a US$1 donation to the CDC Foundation.
In addition to the AirPods Pro case, Catalyst is introducing a full line of interchangeable and colorful accessories for the new iPhone 12 – Vibe and Influence Impact Protection cases, along with a number of universal accessories for any Catalyst iPhone case. The new accessories include bright-colored buttons and lanyards, along with a series of lanyards, shoulder straps, carabiners and the Catalyst Wallet for extra convenience and protection.
“The introduction of interchangeable accessories is something we’ve not done before, but absolutely showcases the fun side of the brand. We’re excited to release these in time for the holidays and offer the perfect gifts for accessorizing the new iPhone,” Catalyst CEO June Lai said in the announcement statement.
For the new iPhone 12, 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max, Catalyst recently released the latest Impact Protection cases, available now in advance of the holidays. The Vibe Series is designed with two textures depending on the color chosen – Carbon Fiber for Stealth Black and Polymetric for Army Green, both creating a more rugged style and tactical grip. The Influence Series stays true to Catalyst’s signature features with some added innovative elements including a fingerprint-free frosted back and added drop protection to 15 feet (4.5m). Both designs feature a Crux attachment system on all four corners of the case, allowing the user to customize attachment preferences.
