IFA Berlin, the consumer electronics and appliance show that brings together retailers from across the globe, is back in-person for the first time since the pandemic began in 2020. After two years of heart-wrenching cancellations, the show is set to take place on September 2-6, 2022, and will be hosted by German trade fair company Messe Berlin.
Among attendees, excitement for the event is building. Tom Hickman, President of Nationwide Marketing Group, said in IFA’s press release: “IFA isn’t just one of the largest CE and home appliances trade shows. It’s also an innovation epicenter that draws the best, the brightest, and the most exciting new technology, year in and year out… We can’t wait to see what this year’s event has in store for the channel.”
In other news, Beko, the kitchen appliance manufacturer, has announced that it will be launching its new line of CornerIntense Dishwashers on May 18, which also doubles as “No More Dirty Dishes Day.” According to the company, these new dishwashers feature a spray-arm design that disperses water and detergent in a rectangular motion, while using only half the water and two-thirds the energy of a normal dishwasher.
Lastly, NetGear is giving small and medium-sized businesses access to faster Wi-Fi at affordable prices with the new WAX615, which is the company’s latest addition to its range of Wi-Fi 6 compatible wireless access points. The WAX615 has a top speed of 3Gbps and an extended wireless range. The Netgear WAX615-100NAS and the WAX615PA-100NAS are currently available and retail for $189.99 and $209.99 respectively.
