Nationwide Marketing Group has just announced that it has been awarded the 2022 ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year – Sustained Excellence Award from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. This marks the eighth consecutive year that Nationwide has been honored with the award, which is given to businesses and organizations that are on the cutting edge of promoting energy-efficient products and strategies. 

In other news, LG, which was also honored with a 2022 ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year award, is teasing out a new collaboration with the Star Wars franchise on its New York Times Square billboard. The message, which is written in the Star Wars alphabet “Aurebesh,” reads “You haven’t yet seen the true power of the dark side. Join us.” The billboard will run until May 24 in preparation for the specifics of the collaboration being released on May 25. 

Lastly, Volta, the Swedish electric truck manufacturer, has announced that it will be unleashing its urban delivery EVs on the US starting in Los Angeles, where it will be deploying a test fleet of 100 Class 7 (16.5 ton) Zero trucks. This move comes as the company aims to commence production of the vehicles in the US starting in 2024.
