McIntosh’s Latest Product Brings Hi-Fi Audio to Radio

The iconic audio manufacturer McIntosh has just announced the release of the MR89 AM/FM Tuner, which allows users to enjoy their favorite radio stations at the company’s Hi-Fi audio standards. This new device features updates to sensitivity, signal-to-noise ratio, harmonic distortion, channel selectivity, and stereo separation. The MR89 is currently available for purchase via authorized McIntosh dealers and retails for $5,500.

In other news, Amazon has announced that the annual Prime Day shopping event will kick off on July 12 at 3 am EDT and will run for 48 hours through July 13. Early bird deals to generate hype for the main event will begin on June, 21 with Amazon offering up to 55 percent off of devices manufactured by the company including the Kindle Paperwhite and the fourth-generation Echo Dot. Last year’s Prime Day event brought in a whopping $11.2 billion in sales. 

Lastly, Ferrari has announced plans to turn 60 percent of its vehicle fleet either hybrid or fully electric by 2026. The Italian auto manufacturer’s end goal is to become carbon neutral by 2030. Also, the company’s first full EV, which is scheduled to be released in 2025 will -like all other Ferraris- be handcrafted at the company’s facility in Maranello. On the company’s first EV CEO Benedetto Vigna said: “The first electric Ferrari will be rooted in our racing heritage and will draw from a broader technical reservoir while preserving all its authenticity and consistency.”
