Powerhouse Alliance National Sales Meeting Begins

The PowerHouse Alliance National Sales Meeting has begun in Pittsburgh. The three-day sales meeting is expected to include vendor meetings, one-on-one distributor discussions and team activities. Stacey McKibbin, CEO of Consilio, delivered the keynote speech this morning.

“I want to create the awareness around all the things that you are doing with your thought process, your decision making, and the choices you’re making, so that you can teach it to everyone else around you,” said McKibbin in her opening. “This is how you’re going to scale and grow your business profitably sustainably, and consistently over time.”

McKibbin discussed her profit formula and a look at the five ways with which members can grow their business by 46 percent of revenue year. These included leveraging what makes a company unique, converting current customers into more profitable customers and including a check list of services, among other initiatives.

The Alliance is a national consortium of regional wholesale distributors that deliver leading brands to custom installers, specialty dealers, large retailers and industry buying groups in the residential and commercial audio video, home entertainment, smart home automation, security, networking, IT, and consumer electronics accessories markets. PowerHouse Distributors delivers on product availability and convenience, with member distributors stocking more than 250 lines, including the house brand A2V, in a combined 850,000 square feet of warehouse space.

To keep up with the ever-changing world of technology, PowerHouse Alliance has partnered with CEDIA, the Custom Electronics Design and Installation Association. To further empower their customers, PowerHouse distributors will become CEDIA certified trainers and host quarterly, local CEDIA sanctioned training sessions for their dealers.
