WiZ Announces Several New Smart Lighting Products

WiZ, a smart lighting company which is owned by Signify, the same company that owns other smart lighting maker Philips Hue, has announced some new lighting products that will release at various points throughout the fall season — although some new products are available right now. WiZ is known for its budget-friendly smart home and lighting product catalog that work with various smart home hub systems like Amazon Alexa and Google Home.

Available now are WiZ’s new bar and floor lights, such as its Pole Floor Light and its Bar Linear Light. The Pole Floor Light was designed to wash your walls with soft ambient light and color, giving you the ability to mix and match colors to best suit your lighting needs. In September, the new WiZ Portable Button, which will cost $24.99, will be available. This product will act as a remote control for all WiZ-connected lighting. Lastly, coming in October is the WiZ Mobile Portable Light. This product functions as a neat little dynamic lantern designed for mobility around the house — but not outside. Though it may seem like it could work outdoors, it does not have any resistance to water. This Mobile Portable Light will cost $89.99 and will apparently have around 10-hours of battery life.

“The launches today respond to the growing popularity of portable, indirect and smart lighting with new, versatile products, and we are excited about the many possibilities for our customers.” said Giuliano Ghidini, Commercial Leader UKI of Signify in the company’s blog post about the new WiZ products.
