Apple Bringing New Features to Fitness+ App

Apple has announced that it will be introducing several new features to its Fitness+ exercise app beginning on Monday, January 9. The wellness companion app will now offer more fun ways to increase your overall wellbeing, including kickboxing, a new meditation mode and additional audio options. The new kickboxing workouts will include total-body cardio exercises, each with a distinct round of moves and one final round that combines everything from the program. Fitness+ trainers Jamie-Ray Hartshorne and Nez Dally will be joined by two new trainers, Brian Cochrane and Jenn Lau, to lead the classes.

On the meditation front, a new theme joining the apps library is called Sleep. The introduction to sleep meditation course consists of four 20-minute classes that end with five minutes of relaxing music. The new audio offerings include expanded workout soundtracks from Beyonce that will be available in classes such as Cycling, Dance, HIIT, Pilates, Strength, Treadmill, and Yoga. Additionally, music from the Foo Fighters and Bad Bunny will be joining the app later this month.

In other news, Asus has unveiled its new Zenbook 14 Flip OLED laptop. The lightweight, convertible laptop boasts the latest 13th Gen Intel Core processors and a 2.8K OLED PANTONE Validated touchscreen. The Zenbook 14 is also perfect for the eco-conscious, as it’s built with 30% PCR plastics and 100% recyclable packaging. The AI-powered camera also supports ASUS 3D Noise Reduction technology to ensure that video noise is always minimized in video calls.
