LAVA Upgrades Blaze 5G Smartphone Line-Up with Launch of 6GB Variant

LAVA has released an improved version of its Lava Blaze 5G with larger 6GB RAM storage and other powerful features for the Indian market.

The Indian mobile handset company has been consolidating its position on the local market with its Blaze series of Android smartphones, unveiling it Blaze 5G phone in 2022, one of the most affordable 5G phones in the country. This mid-range device boasting a number of advanced features has now been joined by an improved model, the Lava Blaze 5G with 6GB of storage.

Powerful features and storage

With a similar design to its predecessor, the Lava Blaze 5G with 6GB is backed by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset, and an octa-core processor. Powered by a 5,000mAh battery integrated with 15W charging support, the latest 5G model runs on the Android 12 operating system.

The device offers a 6.5-inch HD+ IPS screen with a 90Hz refresh rate and comes equipped with a dual camera setup. On the back it boasts a 50-megapixel AI triple-camera system with image stabilisation while on the front it has a 8MP camera sensor.

Most importantly, the new version of Lava’s Blaze 5G brings a larger 6GB RAM and 128 GB storage capacity users will be able to expand even further to a limit of 1TB using its microSD card slot.

Apart from its enhanced storage, the new phone comes with a host of other features, including a USB-C port for charging and data transfer, Bluetooth 5.1 for wireless connectivity, dual-SIM support, face unlock, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner incorporated into its power button.

The Blaze 5G series is fully compatible with all of India’s major 5G bands and the new version comes in blue and green colour options, both with glass-back design.
