Estelon, the Estonian-based manufacturer of high-end speakers, has just announced the release of the new Estelon Extreme MK II. These futuristic-looking loudspeakers stand over six feet tall and are jampacked with updates, including a new 1-inch diamond membrane Accuton tweeter that according to the company’s press release “can reproduce sounds up to 60 kHz with no distortions in the human hearing range.”
In other news, Samsung has expanded its popular Bespoke refrigerator line-up to include a new model: The Bespoke Side-by-Side. Featuring an increased capacity of 28 cu. ft, the Bespoke Side-by-Side also includes an ENERGY STAR certification and connectivity with the SmartThings ecosystem. The fridge also comes with new Auto Open Door sensors, meaning users simply have to lightly touch the handles for the doors to open. The Bespoke Side-by-Side is currently available for pre-order at $1,699.
Lastly, the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 processor from Qualcomm is expected to begin being rolled out in mid-range smartphones this month. According to the company, the second-generation processor will deliver a 50 percent performance improvement over the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1. The processor is also expected to improve battery efficiency by 13 percent and significantly better AI performance with an AI Super Resolution function that is able to upscale video and photos from 1080p to 4K.
