On August 15, LG Electronics USA unveiled the pricing and availability of the LG StanbyME Go portable screen, an all-in-one travel entertainment option. The StanbyME Go will be available later this month exclusively at LG.com.

The StanbyME Go has a versatile 27-inch LED touchscreen attached to a stand, which can be tilted, rotated, lowered, and raised in addition to being adjusted to landscape, portrait, and tabletop orientations.

The LG StanbyME Go is contained in a convenient and durable case with a built-in handle, battery, and speakers, along with compartments to hold a variety of accessories. The battery allows for up to three hours of viewing in between charges. LG StanbyME Go’s 20-watt speaker system adapts to whatever orientation the screen is in to provide optimal surround sound, supporting Dolby Vision video technology and Dolby Atmos stereo sound to provide an immersive entertainment experience wherever the users are.

“Content viewing is no longer confined to the living room or even the home, but until now, consumers have had to sacrifice screen size in favor of portability,” said David Park, Head of HE Product Marketing in a press release. “LG StanbyME Go makes the full-scale viewing experience travel-friendly and offers a versatile option for streaming, listening, remote working and more.”

The LG StanbyME Go portable screen will be priced at $999.99. It is available for preorder. Those who preorder will receive an offer of a free LG XBOOM 360 Bluetooth Speaker (XO3QBE) ($249.99 value). Preorders of the LG StanbyME Go portable screen are expected to ship later this month as well.
