Oracle Unveils Compute Cloud@Customer
Oracle has introduced Oracle Compute Cloud@Customer, a versatile cloud infrastructure that extends Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) compute services to any location. This solution empowers organizations to develop, deploy, secure, and manage workloads using the same software stack as OCI, even in small deployments such as single racks. With compatibility between OCI and Oracle Compute Cloud@Customer, developers and IT managers can ensure a consistent user experience regardless of location.
The platform also allows the integration of Oracle Exadata Cloud@Customer for workloads tightly connected with Oracle databases. Built for high performance and availability, the solution starts with 552 processor cores and 150 TB of usable storage, scalable to over 6,000 processor cores and 3.4 PB of storage capacity. This release is part of Oracle’s distributed cloud strategy, offering a fully integrated cloud platform designed, installed, and managed by Oracle. Compute Cloud@Customer provides the same core OCI cloud services as public cloud regions, helping streamline operations, reduce costs, and maintain security.
