Lumileds Releases Philips OlfaPure 7300 Smart Car Aroma Diffuser

Light solutions company Lumileds introduced its latest innovation: the Philips OlfaPure 7300, an app-controlled car aroma diffuser that allows users to choose from a selection of French-designed fragrances to make their drive more comfortable.

The diffuser is designed to fit most console cup holders. The Philips OlfaPure 7300 is USB-powered and Bluetooth-connected. Users can control their diffuser with a free dedicated app that employs an advanced spatial algorithm to control aroma diffusion by varying the scent output automatically. The result is a refreshing, consistent aroma that avoids the ‘nose blindness’ commonly associated with diffusers that continually pump out a high level of scents. To ensure a consistently adaptive scent, the algorithm analyzes scents’ characteristics, how quickly they travel and even the cabin size of the vehicle they waft through.

The Philips Olfapure 7300 comes with 10 different fragrances for users to choose from. They are divided into three ‘functional’ scents (Odor Removal, Motion Sickness and Anti-V to neutralize microbes) and seven ‘mood’ scents (Black Cherry, Jasmin, Citrus Garden, Lavender, Orchard, Solarium and Ocean Bliss). All fragrances were crafted in France and are formulated with liquid oil-free, high-quality ingredients certified by the International Fragrance Association (IFRA). Up to four scents can be loaded into the diffuser unit, each lasting approximately three months.

The Philips Olfapure 7300 is available at select retailers.
