The fast-growing consumer electronics giant TCL, which has experienced great success with its TCL Roku TV and Google TV product lines, has just announced three new hires within the company’s leadership team. According to the company, Chris Hamdorf will be the new Senior Vice President for North America, Chris Hogan will be the Vice President of Smart Home Sales, and Scott Ramirez will be the Vice President of Product Marketing and Development for Home Theater. Each new hire brings a wealth of industry knowledge and experience having worked for major competitors such as LG, Toshiba, Samsung, Midea, and Sharp.  

In other news, Denon has just introduced the new DHT-S217 soundbar, complete with built-in subwoofers. The DHT-S217 features Dolby Atmos 3D audio technology to provide a cinematic surround sound experience and includes 4K HDMI connectivity. At just two inches tall, the soundbar can be placed in front of the TV, or wall-mounted, to deliver an unobstructed listening and viewing experience. 

Lastly, German audio manufacturer Sennheiser has unleashed a new set of true wireless earbuds that are designed with fitness aficionados in mind. The Sport True Wireless buds feature up to 18 hours of listening time and include an Aware EQ passthrough setting, which can reduce the audio effect of noise and vibrations from your own body.
