Google Announces New Shopping Features Ahead of the Holiday Season

Google has announced the rollout of new shopping features that will help customers get better deals directly from online searches – just in time for the holidays. The technology company will now have a promotion badge that shows discounted items, as well as a coupon clipping feature that makes it easier to copy promo codes. Other new features include side-by-side comparisons of product deals from different websites and price insights, which will compare prices from various merchants and show whether they are low, high or typical. The new shopping features are expected to launch within the month.

In other news, wearable technology company WHOOP announced that its WHOOP 4.0 and certain accompanying accessories will now be sold at over 200 Best Buy retail locations nationwide. The WHOOP 4.0 is a screenless wearable that tracks biometric data, such as skin temperature, blood oxygen levels and heart rate. Accessories that will be available in stores include the Battery Pack 4.0 and SuperKnit Bands.

Lastly, auto parts retailer NAPA Auto Parts has teamed up with home charger installation company Qmerit to make purchasing a charger for electric vehicles a more seamless experience. Customers will now be able to research which EV charger is best for them, purchase it and set up an installation with Qmerit through NAPA’s website. The two companies hope this new process will take some of the stress out of purchasing an EV charger.
