OPPO has announced the release of its newest foldable smartphone that features the company’s most advanced hinge to date. The Find N2 Flip comes equipped with OPPO’s Flexicon Hinge, which allows the screen to be set at any angle between 45 and 110 degrees. The new maneuverability makes the phone perfect for shooting all kinds of photos and videos, as well as watching content in different viewpoints. OPPO’s new phone also boasts the largest and only vertically oriented cover screen of any flip phone on the market, with a 17:9 vertical aspect ratio.
In other news, audio company Monster has unveiled two speakers as part of its new DNA series. The DNA One and DNA Max are the industry’s first portable speakers that can be charged wirelessly, thanks to an included high-speed charging base. The lightweight speakers have an average unplugged playtime of 14 hours, produce 30 watts of powerful sound and come in at just 1.5 and 2.5 pounds, respectively. They also feature omnidirectional sound technology, which utilizes four evenly distributed speakers and can connect to any other DNA speakers for party mode.
Lastly, the Biden Administration has announced that it will build 500,000 electric vehicle chargers along highways in the country as part of its efforts to combat climate change. Th administration also announced that it aims to have EVs make up 50 percent of new car sales by 2030, as well as continuing to advance the industrial strategy to build-out the domestic EV and EV charging industry. Signed by President Biden last year, the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law invested $7.5 billion in EV charging, $10 billion in clean transportation, and over $7 billion in EV battery components, critical minerals, and materials.
