Huawei has announced a series of updates to the company’s portfolio of solutions for digital infrastructure. Launched in 2022, the plan aims to help enterprise customers build digital infrastructure and enable digital transformation of the industry. The portfolio solutions enable this by planning and aligning key features across products for each company’s particular scenario. The new updates to the portfolio will help customers quickly launch services to accelerate business success and build an advanced technical architecture that can help the company evolve in the future.
In other news, Garmin has announced two new dedicated GPS running smartwatch products with AMOLED displays. The Forerunner 265 series and Forerunner 965 both feature full color displays, a five-button touch screen and smart notifications in a lightweight design. The new smartwatches also boast advanced training metrics and recovery insights that make them perfect for athletes and exercise enthusiasts. The Forerunner 265 series and Forerunner 965 will be available in March and will cost $449.99 and $599.99, respectively.
Lastly, Amazon has paused the construction of its second headquarters located in Virginia. The decision was made due to “ … reassessment of office needs to account for remote work,” Blomberg reported. Despite the pause, Amazon says it is still committed to its pledge of spending $2.5 billion and hiring around 25,000 workers in the region. The decision also comes after Amazon let 18,000 workers go last year due to concerns of a looming recession.
