Managed by automation software, the network consists of three basic elements; delivery drones, pads where drones can takeoff, land and charge, and autoloaders where partners can load packages for automatic pickup. The aviation company says the network will easily integrate into existing retail operations and plans to roll out the program over the course of the next year.
