LG Turns Focus to Educational Benefits with New OS

LG will announce its newest technology at ISTELive 2023 with an interactive booth featuring demonstrations of LG whiteboards, laptops, Chromebook, and projector models, all with its newest OS software: ChromeOS slot in PC (model OPS-C001)for LG Createboard. This new model allows educators to use the new operating system on their existing Createboards, tablets, and Chromebook using a Single Sign On (SSO). A SSO device allows a person to access everything attached to their Google Account in a single space with just their G-Mail. This includes Google Classroom, Google Drive, Meets, Google Assistant, etc.) LG is also releasing the LG Educators Initiative to encourage education professionals to share their experiences using the new software with peers.

LG plans to showcase how the simple design will benefit teachers and students alike. Victoria Sanville, Education Vertical Leader at LG Business Solutions USA, claims “different classrooms and subjects often require different display and computing devices to support lesson plans and interactivity, […] And with LG’s broad product lines, schools and learning institutions can outfit a variety of spaces using a single supplier, which can simplify maintenance and provide added benefits such as centralized display management and the ability to broadcast content across large digital signage networks.” Visit the LG Booth
