Nikon Inc. has officially announced two new super telephoto lenses for their NIKKOR Z lineup: the NIKKOR Z 180-600mm F/5.6-6.3 VR and NIKKOR Z 70-180mm f/2.8. These lenses offer exceptional zoom capabilities in lightweight designs, providing photographers with versatility and ease of use.
The NIKKOR Z 180-600mm F/5.6-6.3 VR boasts a lightweight build that allows for handheld shooting, making it ideal for capturing birds, sports, and more. With a versatile focal range and close minimum focus distances, it is equally suited for close-up shots of flowers and insects. The lens features Vibration Reduction (VR) image stabilization equivalent to a 5.5-stop increase in shutter speed, ensuring sharp and steady shots. The stepping motor (STM) enables fast and quiet autofocusing, while customizable Fn buttons on the lens barrel offer added convenience. The lens is also designed with dust and drip resistance, along with a fluorine coating on the front lens element for easy maintenance.
