The theme of AVB’s Women in Business event was “Champagne and Charcuterie.” The women were welcomed with champagne at the door. Throughout the evening, they worked together to put together the perfect charcuterie board under the instruction of special guest Andrew Gallo, a Product Training Specialist for B/S/H Home Appliances, which includes Appliance Retailer BOSCH.
Gallo was present at the Women in Business Event to showcase how two B/S/H companies (BOSCH and Thermador) are female-led and run. Female leaders from all industries had a chance to chat with other members who encompass the Women in Business Event’s description of “awe-inspiring, empowered women looking to grow professionally and personally in today’s working world.”
This group of professional and powerful female independent retailers gets together bi-annually to collaborate, connect, and empower one another. The group’s events are run by Arlene Soto, Member Relations Lead Manager at AVB, who is especially proud of AVB’s Women in Business Program and how it has grown in the past couple of years.
