Introducing Hisense’s New L9H TriChroma and L5H 4K Laser TVs

Hisense, the official TV and home appliance partner of the NBA, has announced the availability of the L9H TriChroma and L5H 4K smart laser TVs. These displays are the newest products in the brand’s 2023 Laser TV lineup, which come with all-new ambient light rejecting (ALR) screens that enhance brightness for a sharper picture, NEXTGEN TV (ATSC 3.0), Google TV, and improved picture quality. The L9H and L5H are available in two screen sizes: 100” or 120” and come paired with an easy-to-install screen.

The L9H TriChroma is a part of Hisense’s L9 series of TVs, which deliver bright, true-to-life visuals, and the latest technologies involved in modern televisions in an ultra-short throw projector. The L9H TriChroma reaches 3000 lumens of peak brightness, delivering a lifelike image no matter which room it is placed in. Dolby Vision offers stunning contrast and detail, meanwhile, Dolby Atmos produces high-quality cinematic sound. The triple-laser TriChroma engine in the L9H TriChroma can reach 107 percent of the BT.2020 color space. It is available for $5,999.99 at select retailers.

The L5H 4K provides a big-screen experience in the home, with 2700 ANSI lumens and X-Fusion laser light engine technology to deliver sharper images and natural colors, further enhanced by Dolby Vision HDR. Dolby Atmos audio is embodied in 40-watt built-in speakers. The new ALR screen is designed to operate in all lighting conditions—including broad daylight—to ensure the L5H provides an optimal television experience in any room. It is available for $3,999.99 at select retailers.

Midland Radio and Jeep Release Co-Branded MicroMobile Radios & Microphones

Midland Radio and Jeep have expanded their partnership. The two-way radio communication technology brand and the off-road vehicle manufacturer introduced two Jeep-branded MicroMobile products: the MXT275J 15 Watt GMRS two-way radio, the MXT575J 50 Watt GMRS two-way radio, and the MA75J microphone.

The Midland MXT275J Jeep MicroMobile two-way radio combines compact design with exceptional performance, offering reliable communication with 15 Watts of GMRS power, bringing a maximum range of up to 50 miles. The Midland MXT575J Jeep MicroMobile two-way radio has a 50-Watt GMRS output. Notably, the FCC legal limit for GMRS communication is 50 Watts, putting the MXT575J at the maximum legal limit, providing optimal coverage and clarity. The MXT275J and MXT575J MicroMobiles also have 18- and 50-Watt output charging power, respectively, providing rapid charging capabilities for any device. Both units also allow users to tune into the NOAA Weather Radio to get weather updates from the National Weather Service.

The new radios also come with a specially designed microphone, the Midland MA75J Jeep MicroMobile microphone. The MA75J can also be purchased separately and paired with the legacy MXT275 and MXT575 MicroMobile products. Ideal for dashboards with limited space, the MA75J ensures seamless control and accessibility, allowing drivers to effortlessly manage their communication system while maintaining focus on the road ahead.

Both radios are currently available for online purchase and from approved retailers. The MXT275J will retail for $179.99 and the MXT575J for $419.99. The MA75J microphone will be available soon and retail for $59.99.

Getac Launches the Next Generation S410 Semi-Rugged Laptop

Getac, a provider of rugged mobile technology and intelligent video solutions, recently launched its newest device, the S410 semi-rugged laptop. The S410 is the first Getac device to feature an Intel Core 13th generation i5/i7 processor as standard, which delivers a high computing performance and rapid responsiveness to users. It is also the most eco-friendly device that Getac has manufactured to date, with over 24 percent of the chassis made from post-consumer recycled (PCR) materials.

Integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics provide a rich visual experience. There is also an optional dedicated GPS chip that offers improved location accuracy compared to previous generations. The next generation S410 includes Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 as standard, with optional 4G LTE and/or 5G Sub-6 with integrated GPS, keeping users connected in even remote locations. It can also be fully configured to match different user scenarios across the defense, public safety, and utility industries, for example, with a wide range of compatible accessories.

The next generation S410 is both MIL-STD-810H certified and IP53 certified, as well as vibration and drop resistant up to three feet, helping to protect against accidental damage in busy or challenging work environments. The 14” screen with Getac sunlight-readable technology ensures excellent visibility (1000 nits) in both internal and external environments, while multi-touch modes support various use cases, meaning tasks can be completed quickly and efficiently. Sensitive user data is protected with the latest generation of the S410, with TPM2.0 and Intel vPro technology, user-replaceable PCIe NVMe SSD storage, and multi-factor authentication options such as Windows Hello Webcam, HF RFID reader, smart card reader, and fingerprint reader.

The new S410 will be available to order in December 2023.
