Bowers & Wilkins Teams Up with 007 Brand on Latest Wireless Headphones

The James Bond film franchise, second only to the Queen in the hierarchy of British popular culture exports, is celebrating its 60th anniversary in 2022. To celebrate, the film franchise has partnered with the iconic British audio manufacturer Bowers & Wilkins to create the Px8 007 edition wireless headphones. The two brands, which are synonymous with British elegance, have been working together for the past 40 years, with the Bowers & Wilkins 800 series loudspeakers serving as key support devices for the editing process of the James Bond films.

The Px8 007 edition will come in a midnight blue color, paying homage to the classic dinner jacket worn by 007 in the franchise’s first-ever film: Dr. No. Available as of today on the Bowers & Wilkins website and at 007Store.com, the Px8 007 edition headphones will retail for $799. In regards to the formal partnership, Giles Pocock, Vice President of Brand Marketing at Bowers & Wilkins, said: “We are immensely proud of our long-standing relationship with the James Bond franchise. Our new partnership gives us the perfect opportunity to highlight the close connection we’ve had with some of the iconic music of 007 over the years.”

In other news, Metra Electronics used the platform provided by the 2022 SEMA show to unveil a new suite of aftermarket features designed to fit in select Ford Broncos. Products include a dash-mount tweeter plate, speaker harnesses, and a kick panel speaker adapter plate.
