Sony Adds New Ultra-Wide Lens to Standard Zoom Lineup

Sony Electronics has announced the introduction of a new ultra-wide lens to its lineup of standard zoom lenses. The E-mount 20-70mm F4 G is the newest addition to Sony’s original G camera lenses, which are manufactured to the highest standards of optical performance. The news lens boasts a versatile zoom range, along with a remarkably compact and lightweight form-factor. The wide zoom range maintains a constant F4 aperture, providing a beautiful bokeh that’s perfect for shooting multiple scenarios, including vlogging, video production, portraits, and landscapes. 

In other news, visual solutions company ViewSonic has launched a new collection of premium webcam-docking monitors. The VG56V series includes the VG2456V and VG2756V-2K displays, which deliver video conferencing capabilities with a pop-up webcam that’s perfect for both home and office use. The displays feature built-in LED fill lights and a two-way AI noise reduction function for both input and output audios. Each monitor comes in 24-inch and 27-inch versions with full HD resolution. 

Lastly, a new report conducted by experts at icebike.org has found that Hawaii is the number one state most interested in electric bikes. The study analyzed Google trends data of searches for the keyword “electric bike” in the last twelve months across each state. Hawaii topped the list with a search score of 100, followed by California who had a search score of 80. Other states in the top five include Utah with 76, Idaho with 72, and Vermont with 69. Google searches for electric bikes reached an all-time high in the summer of 2022, showing that consumers are interested in a low carbon, low-cost car alternative.
